Brat Stop opened in 1961 and since then has hosted many local and national acts. Some of the more famous groups are Charlie Daniels, Cheap Trick, Puddle of Mudd, Eddie Money, Warrant, BTO, Great White, Jackyl, Saliva, Trace Adkins, Jo Dee Messina, Foghat, The Guess Who, Ratt and Shinedown.
